Ticket Fulfilment
With Evolvi, tickets can be printed by either the corporate or the TMC or even a combination of both. Whatever works best for you.
Evolvi offers 3 printing options, which cover every user contingency and offer a solution to all of the diverse locations that could be encountered in any large corporate's business model.
This printer can either be attached to the PC of a person designated to print rail tickets or for 'Walk Up'. Walk Up is when the system enables the traveller, having previously booked a journey from their desktop to collect their tickets from a centrally located Newbury Data printer linked to a PC. This is suitable where the volume of tickets does not merit a kiosk printer but the organisation does not want to have a designated person to print tickets.
This printer uses credit card sized rail tickets that may include travel on the London Underground and provide car parking and meal vouchers. These tickets are 'barrier friendly' and are magnetically coded on the reverse.
This option is available on either a leased basis (3-year) or as a purchase option. Both options are inclusive of a 3-year maintenance agreement providing for a swap out of a malfunctioning printer normally within 24 hours Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
This ticket fulfillment option is appropriate where large traffic flows are envisaged. The system enables the traveller, having previously booked their journey from their desk-top, to collect their travel tickets from the centrally located foyer printer on their premises.
These stand alone kiosk printers require an internet connection and power supply.
Just like the desk top printer the kiosk uses credit card sized rail tickets that may include travel on London Underground and vouchers for car parking and meals. These tickets are ‘barrier friendly’ and magnetically coded on the reverse.
This option is available on either a leased basis (3-year) or as a purchase option. Both options are inclusive of a 3-year maintenance agreement providing for a replacement of a malfunctioning component, e.g. touch screen, printer or PC, within 24 hours Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
Evolvi allows the transmission of a booking’s data record to the national Ticket on Departure (TOD) network of ticket vending machines and, where these are not present, to a number of principal rail stations where a ‘Ticket Window’ collection facility exists.
These locations are clearly identified in the booking process and the system user may elect to use either this method of fulfillment or, where on site ticket production capabilities exist, this channel. A charge is levied by the national TOD network provider for use of this facility.
